ABOUT MONIFA MAAT

Monifa Maat is a wellness educator, author, and founder of Be It Enterprises LLC, a certified MWBE wellness company. She is the creator of Bed Aerobics Fitness Flow™, an award-winning fitness and healing system that helps people restore strength and resilience from the inside out.

With 20+ years in public health and community wellness, Monifa blends publishing, programs, and productions to elevate health through creativity, compassion, and community. She has also been practicing as a specialist in corrective exercise for over 12 years, including independent collaboration with Dr. Jeffrey Chow at Physical Therapy of Harlem to support patient recovery and wellness. Her work includes the arts-based health equity initiative CRAVE!, and has been featured on BronxNet, News12, and across numerous NYC health initiatives.
